Sonoran Mountain Ranch Water and Wastewater Infrastructure
Peoria, Arizona
The Sonoran Mountain Ranch planned development in Peoria, Arizona, contains 1,930 dwelling units, a park, a school, and commercial areas. The project involved detailed design of one off-site and one on-site water booster station, one water storage tank, and two wastewater lift stations. DLT&V provided construction services including electrical observations, submittal reviews, startup testing observation, record drawings preparation, O&M manual review, construction management assistance, and responded to RFIs. DLT&V provided programming and simulation testing of the PLC Logic for each of the four Modicon PLC’s. OIT Logic and Screens were programmed and simulation tested for each of the four terminals. HMI was programmed using Wonderware Logic and Screens and the SCADA server and network hardware and software were configured for telemetry communications.
The project included approximately 270 I/O points. All documentation was delivered on CD-ROM and in 3-ring binders. DLT&V also attended factory witness testing of the remote telemetry units and assisted the electrical contractor during loop testing and validation of the RTU I/O wiring, and during startup and commissioning of the SCADA telemetry system.
