DLT&V Volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House of Phoenix

Ronald McDonald HousePHOENIX - February 16, 2008:  Ten volunteers from the DLT&V family prepared and served dinner to the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in downtown Phoenix. The RMH provides a place to stay for out-of-town families whose children are getting treatment at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. DLT&V served a delicious dinner of salad, lasagna, eggplant parmesan, garlic bread, and brownies and cake for dessert. The company also gave a large number of amenity bags, with shampoo, soap, toothbrushes & toothpaste, lotion and other supplies to the house. DLT&V looks forward to volunteering again next year!

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix cares for the families of severely ill or injured children by providing them with temporary housing and respite services; enabling the families to be close by when their children need them the most.

Ronald McDonald House provides a temporary home away from home for families who must travel to the Valley to receive treatment for ill or injured children, less than 22 years of age, at local hospitals or medical centers. The large community living areas and 45 private guest rooms create an environment where families feel comfortable and supported as they manage the challenge of caring for a sick or injured child. The company of other families coping with similar experiences offers support during times of crisis.
