DLT&V Helps Firms Utilize Rebates to Save Energy and Money
DLT&V Systems Engineering, Inc. (DLT&V) announced today that the firm has been named as a Qualified Service Provider (QSP) for Salt River Project’s (SRP) PowerWiseTM Large Business Solutions. SRP is the nation’s third-largest public power utility and provides power to customers throughout a 2,900-square-mile service territory in central Arizona. Through the energy efficiency program firms are funded by SRP to conduct an initial assessment to identify potential projects and estimated economic impact and savings. More in-depth technical assessments will be co-funded by SRP at a 50% match. Following approval of the technical assessment, program participants may submit a rebate application based on their potential electrical energy savings from identified energy efficiency measures. Firms may qualify for up to $75,000 in rebates through SRP programs. Program applications will be reviewed on a first come, first served basis until all funding has been committed and pre-approval is required, so SRP customers are urged to get started right away.
As a QSP, DLT&V will lend a hand to municipalities and businesses in understanding, implementing, and documenting their energy efficiency program activities to take full advantage of the savings and rebates available to them. “Talking about saving energy is very popular these days, but this program actually gives utilities and companies the practical means to improve their energy efficiency and provides part of the funding to make it a reality; we are very excited to be a part of it!” says Brian Downing, DLT&V’s President.
The firm was approved as a QSP for SRP’s PowerWise Large Business Solutions program based in part on DLT&V’s experience with water and wastewater utilities operating in SRP’s service area. In the current economic environment, municipalities are looking for ways to cut costs just like every other business. DLT&V’s capabilities in electrical engineering, control systems integration, and maintenance and support services make them an excellent choice for industrial clients of all types who would like to take advantage of SRP’s savings and rebate programs.
